Tastebox is operated by Akontec Synergy Pvt Ltd (CIN U70200WB2026PTC288824), Chennai, India. This policy explains how we handle personal data on our website and apps.

2. What we collect

Your name, mobile number, email, delivery addresses, order and reservation history, payment confirmations from our payment partners, location (with your permission) and device data collected through cookies.

3. How we use it

To deliver orders, confirm reservations, process refunds, prevent fraud, improve recommendations and, with your consent, send offers and the Sunday Plate newsletter.

4. Sharing

We share only what is needed with partner restaurants, delivery riders and payment gateways, and with authorities where the law requires. We never sell your personal data.

5. Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data, or withdraw marketing consent, from My Account or by writing to support@akontec.com. Requests are handled under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

6. Security & retention

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Order records are kept for eight years for tax purposes; other data is deleted when no longer needed.
